The Patrol Division serves as the backbone of our law enforcement operations, providing continuous protection and service to the citizens of Bosque County. Staffed by 12 dedicated Deputies—including 4 Patrol Sergeants—each member is a certified peace officer with training levels ranging from Basic to Master certification.

Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the Patrol Division is responsible for safeguarding over 1,000 square miles. Deputies are often the first point of contact for the public and play a critical role in maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and responding to emergencies.

The duties of the Patrol Division include, but are not limited to:

• Responding to calls for service

• Conducting traffic enforcement

• Serving warrants

• Protecting the welfare and peace of the public

• Preventing crime through proactive patrol

• Enforcing the laws of the State of Texas

• Assisting local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies

• Acting as first responders to emergencies
