CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS DIVISION (CID)

     The Criminal Investigations Division, commonly referred to as CID, is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations into serious, complex, or specialized criminal offenses.

Investigators review reports, conduct interviews, collect and evaluate evidence, prepare cases for prosecution, obtain and execute search and arrest warrants, and coordinate with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies when necessary.

     CID investigations may involve crimes against persons, property crimes, financial offenses, narcotics-related investigations, and other cases requiring additional investigative resources.

     Our investigators are experienced peace officers who bring extensive law enforcement knowledge and specialized investigative training to complex criminal cases.

     The goal of the Criminal Investigations Division is to conduct thorough, professional, and impartial investigations while protecting victims, identifying offenders, recovering property, and presenting well-documented cases for prosecution.
